So, maybe your sidewalk chalk art would be somewhere in between these pictures? Regardless, it is a fun summer activity for almost any age and any place. You can purchase jumbo chalk which is easier for small hands to hold, or the regular stuff will do. Crayola (of course) has a huge range of products, but simple is sometimes best. As far as I know, all chalk is washable from clothing and when it rains, the sidewalks are new again.
